Marc, I think I can talk for both Randy and I, we head a great time yesterday. I personally have only been out with a couple of guides and by far this was the most informative trip that I have been on. I know that the fish were on a tough bite and what I learned and have more confident with is fishing out in the deeper water. The little tips that you showed us will be invaluable such as the proper way to rig a plastic worm. To think that I have been fishing for years and never paid attention to this. I will defiantly start paying more attention and looking at what the bait is doing. This is just a letter of thanks to you for a great job. We will be going back out with you in the near future. Marc, Thanks for the Lake Fork experience. Putting Todd on the 8 lbs, 4 oz lady culminated a great day. Your willingness to teach a bunch of pike fishermen Bass oriented techniques fit our wants perfectly. And your patience & tolerance of our flippin’ & hook setting was appreciated. I always thought those BASS fishermen were a little over-the-top on their hook sets for such a little fish (compared to pike). Now I better understand the urgency! Thanks Again! David Freeman

I enjoyed this seminar more than any other I have ever attended. I live just north of the 2966 bridge on the west side of Coffee Creek. I will put your techniques to good use soon. Would also be interested in any seminar you give in the future. Sight fishing and Summer location are two that come to my mind. Thanks again and good luck in the future!

Marc, Thanks again for the Great fishing trip!!!!! A note from Georgia - I really did learn quite a lot about fishing from you that will help me be a better angler. I am extremely happy that I was able to actually catch fish, I usually don’t catch many. I especially appreciate you spending the time to teach me how to throw the bait cast reel and without back-lashing, my husband and son are extremely glad about that too. the trip and your knowledge. Marc, It has been several weeks since our return trip home and I wanted to take a minute to thank you and your wife for a truly great trip. We certainly enjoyed the fine country home settings, furnishings, and the added company of Precious, Smokey, & Pretty Girl. Despite the cold front, you worked very hard to find us good, quality fish and make a very memorable trip. We will definitely be back to fish with you for that elusive double digit bass. I wanted to thank you for a great two days fishing this April. This was our third trip and it was one to remember. You are so good with dad and I think he really enjoys the trips. He should, the 8 lb 8 oz bass was his biggest catch. I am becoming a better fisherman with all of your tips. The site fishing is fun and I am having success with it in North Carolina. My children and I have been fishing with Marc for over two years now. He has been an excellent teacher from introducing us to fishing...all the way to catching the big one! I had an outing with Marc Mitchell and we had a great trip. Marc is a GREAT guide and even a better person. Last fall I wanted to bring some clients of mine to Lake Fork for some fun and fishing. Obviously a good guide is crucial for a successful group trip like this. Marc set us up for a awesome weekend. We stayed at Lake Fork Lodge (where we were treated like royalty) and fished our butt's off. Marc did a great job and got everyone on fish. A tough proposition considering we were spread out in 3 boats!!! Call Marc and book a trip today and demand to use his Viper XP Jig it is AWESOME!!

Greg and I fished Lake Fork with pro guide Marc Mitchell and had a blast. We caught 40 + fish between 3-6 pounds. We were lucky because most boats at our lodge were only catching 1-5 fish per day. Some were using other guides and some were not. I have fished Fork on my on and with a guide and it seemed like completely different lakes. Give Marc a call he was able to help us catch fish when most people weren’t! Experience is one bait most of us don't have!

Joe and I fished with Marc Mitchell and the conditions were not very good for fishing. Marc predicted we would boat 10-20 fish. We boated 17 fish. We were pleased. The flood gates were open and he said he would be tough but he came through for us. When we would go into fish Marc would put his rod down to let us have the best crack at them. In addition to being good company, Marc is a excellent teacher. We had a friend who had caught one over 10 pounds with Marc the year before tell us we would enjoy our trip and we did.

I had tried many times to catch fish on plastic worms, with no success. My husband had tried to show me different methods also with no success. I saw Marc at a seminar at Bass Pro Shop and he was showing a method of worm fishing that would "guarantee" anyone to catch bass. My husband and I were going to Lake Fork a few weeks later on vacation. I called Marc and made plans for a guided trip with him. It was wonderful and he was able to teach me how to catch fish using a wacky worm. We were not able to catch any trophy fish, but we did catch a lot of fish. I learned so much from him and I am so grateful, because 2 days later I caught the largest fish ever for me. My fish was 24 1/2 inches and 9.67 lbs. with a girth of 18 inches. Now I actually enjoy fishing with a wacky worm. Pictures are attached. Thank you, Marc.
